We are delighted to announce the official opening of the open-to-the-public part of Ftelos Brewery.
Fully satisfied with the completion of an innovative structure, both architecturally and operationally, and aspiring to make our products and services well known, on Friday 3/9/2021 we are opening our gates to locals and tourists who enjoy a beer and the flavours it can be paired with.
Inspired by Manolis Chloridis, closely assisted in this journey by businessmen Vangelis Fousteris and Manolis Renieris, and after two and a half years of construction, this piece of land was transformed into a fully-functioning brewery, with 4,8 k sq m of multi-purpose facilities. Latest technology equipment, large vats, the first extended bioclimatic garden in the Cyclades, surrounding the facility but also on the roof garden, and the largest wine cellar on the island are just some of the features of this elegant, innovative and sizeable investment.
Visitors may naturally enjoy a large range of beers, carefully crafted by master brewers Lazaros Gatselos and Thodoris Bizios, but also get a rough idea of the brewing, bottling and storage processes. The beer-themed restaurant serves culinary masterpieces created by chef Alexandros Georgoulas and made with ingredients from local producers, while the roof-garden bar is home to original beer-based cocktails, offering unique experiences and magnificent views towards Fira on the North and the island of Anafi on the East.
The agenda for the next few months is already filled with a host of activities, including beer-brewing seminars, art exhibitions by Santorini artists and other cultural events.
