FTELOS raised the bar really up high upon its birth when committed to produce great beer on an island that has no drinkable water resources! How is that possible? By adopting a high-tech, top-quality water-filtration system of Reverse-Osmosis (RO) that controls and purifies the water destined for brewing!
Since then, the brewery has set high standards in managing its waste as well as in monitoring and limiting all energy consuming functions in order to reduce its overall ecological footprint. FTELOS is one of the few industries that has implemented its own biological sewage system whilst processing all solid leftovers.
After all, it came as no surprise that within just its first year of operation, FTELOS BREWERY received the award of the “Most Innovative Brewery” at the 2021 Nutrition Awards.
