FTELOS Brewery got its name from the toponym of the area, which means ridge in the local dialect of the island.

What is the difference between an Ale and a Lager?

An Ale is fermented in a warm situation where the yeast floats to the top of the fermenter. A Lager on the other hand is fermented in a cold scenario where the yeast remains at the bottom. The brewing process for an Ale can be as quick as 7 days while a Lager typically takes much longer. In general a lager tastes cleaner, smoother and crisper than an ale but a broader range of flavors can be brought out in an Ale.

Do you allow pets?

We love our furry friends! They are welcome in all our outdoor areas, but we ask that they stay well-behaved and attached to a human at all times. If your dog is causing problems, please be advised that we might ask you to take them home. We want the experience to be enjoyable for everyone!
